WHEN TO GET TESTED
Aliton’s Pharmacy Home Healthcare Centers is now offering COVID-19 testing at our Port Jervis NY location by appointment only.
If you have and of the following symptoms:
• fever or chills
• cough
• shortness of breath
• difficulty breathing
• fatigue
• muscle or body aches
• headache
• loss of taste or smell
• sore throat
• congestion or runny nose
• nausea or vomiting
• diarrhea
RAPID AND PCR TESTING AVAILABLE
Rapid Test
Complete in 15-30 minutes with verbal results
PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) Test
Results in 2-3 days with documented results
GET TESTED IMMEDIATELY IF YOU:
• If you have symptoms of COVID-19
• If you had contact with someone who has COVID-19
• If you are a close contact to someone with COVID-19 (you were within 6 feet for at least 10 minutes), you must quarantine for 10 days since your last exposure regardless of your test result
• If you live or work in an area with increased COVID-19 transmission. Check your zone here: nys.gov/covidzone
• After returning home from a state with a high level of COVID-19. ny.gov/traveladvisor
• After attending a large indoor gathering of 50 people or more
TEST PERIODICALLY IF YOU:
If you work outside the home or if you work or live in a congregate setting, this includes healthcare workers, first responders, and essential workers. Follow your employers recommendations for regular testing
